Er Ger Fong was a chinese born in Thailand during the reign of King Chualalonkorn The Great. Er Ger Fong ran many successful business in Thailand that made him a millionaire, most of which were illegal gambling dens. Er Ger Fong was highly respected because of his generosity as he would use much of his business revenue to build foundations for the poor people. Because of his great charisma and business influence, even King Rama himself seek help from Er Ger Fong during the financial crisis and Er Ger Fong donated lots of money to the King Rama 5 so that he could continue to rule Thailand. Er Ger Fong also studied Wicca (magic). He used his magic to gamble so he always win and no one could cheat him - hence the name "Gambling King" After Er Ger Fong passed away, he became deified. The Thai government demolished down Yee Go Hong’s house to build Plubplachai Police Station, Plubplachai District, Bangkok where the famous Er Ger Fong temple stands today.
